I want you to meet Nelly. She came here into my work room, singing quietly, looking out of the window, seeing the first leaves falling down to the earth, bringing all the softness and tenderness of the firs day of the Fall with her… ♥♥♥
Nelly is an one-of-a-kind doll, standing 17 inches, handmade by Atelier Lavendel with lots of love and of care. Nelly is wearing a dress of Liberty of London cotton fabric in soft colours of the Fall, which is with trimmed with cotton lace, it is featuring a heart shaped cotton lace appliqué. She has striped leggings of organic cotton jersey and panties (not pictured) beneath. Her socks are also of organic cotton jersey. Her rode-bud boots are of high quality merino wool felt. I have made her jacket with organic cotton fur, lined with organic cotton jersey. On the left side of it there is a rose bud, which I have felted of merino wool using matching colours. Her cowl with a tassel is knitted of plant-dueyd merino wool. Nelly is now available here and here.
