Meet Leonard and Anton! Standing 6 inches (18cm), they are ooak artist bears, lovingly handmade by Atelier Lavendel, using my designs and high-quality all natural materials. Handmade in Germany.
This bears are made with antique style Schulte viscose and hand painted with non-toxic artistc pastel colours, which gives them a lovely well much loved vintage appearance. Their original glass eyes are handmade in the Lauscha glass manufacture, Germany. I hand embroidered their noses with cotton embroidery floss. I used wood wool to stuff the bodies and the limbs and added to the bellies some steel pellets, which are safely placed within a linen bag, for more lovely weight. They have full jointed arms, legs and heads, which are are movable and pose able. Their cowls are made with Donegal tweed and can be put off.
I intended these bears as a little treasure to display or as a special heirloom toy to an older child for gentle play.
