That has been August…
August is a quite shy, 18cm tall brown bear, born in the last days of the Summer. I made him with my new pattern, which makes him looking even more like a young lumbering bear. He has handmade German glass eyes. His fur is of sparse antique style mohair to add to his little personality some more of well much loved vintage appearance. His limbs are firmly stuffed with wood shavings and are well posable. To his belly I added some steel shot, safely put into a cotton pouch, for more lovely weight.
August is wearing a silk plant-dyes scarf to hold his neck warm.
