Bene is a miniature antique style teddy bear. Standing 5 inches (12cm) this bear is lovingly handmade by Atelier Lavendel, using my original designs and high-quality natural materials. Handmade in Germany.
This bear is made with high quality mohair fabric from traditional working German manufacture Steiff Schulte, which gives him a lovely well much loved vintage appearance. His original glass eyes are handmade in the Lauscha glass manufacture, Germany. I hand embroidered his nose and claws with cotton embroidery floss. I used organic clean wood shavings to stuff the body and the limbs and added to his chubby belly some steel shot for more lovely weight. I have chosen pure wool felt for his paws. This bear is sympathetically aged using several techniques and hand painted with non-toxic colours. His full jointed arms, legs and head are movable and pose able. His bow of hand dyed silk can be put off.
I intended this miniature mohair bear as a little treasure to display or as a special heirloom toy to an older child for gentle play. Ready to ship. ECO friendly. Dry clean only.
