My handmade Waldorf pocket gnomes. I really do enjoy making them! These pocket gnomes with their red pointed hats, their thick cowls and tiny woollen blankets are usually keeping company to my larger dolls.
To me it is a feast for the fingers to touch all the finest materials they are made with: organic cotton velvet and organic clean sheep wool for the bodies, plant dyed wool for the cowls in different shades of green, lace weight mohair on silk (no poly used) for their soft tiny blankets and a gorgeous wool/silk blend for the pouches. I also love it to look into see these tiny faces, to see them coming to life in my hands, stitch by stitch. Adding a bit blush… Here they are!.. I do love them! : ) So happy, they agreed to accompany me to the European Waldorf Doll Making Seminar. : ) Hope, you like them too! : )
