This 7 inch/18cm little Waldorf doll is designed and handmade by my with natural best quality possible materials and lots, lots of love and care. I used organic cotton velvet for the clothing, organic sheep wool for stuffing (which I get localy on a organic working farm here, in South Germany) and sturdy Swiss made doll making cotton tricot for the face. I love the wonderful soft texture of that hat and that hat and the cowl – it is plant dyed merino angora wool and mohair wool in wonderful soft off-white tone. I have made the green leaf on the top of his hat with pure wool felt. A tiny silver bell is ringing on his every step, so you can always hear your little darling when a making a little walk in the woods.
This baby has a round baby belly, tiny ears and just a bit of soft and fluffy baby hair ; ) – I used mohair locks for it. I have carefully hand embroidered dolls face. It has the fair skin tone. I have soft sculptured the head of this baby doll following the traditional Waldorf style of European doll making, using carded organic sheep wool. The cotton clothing can not be put off.
But he loves to put the cowl and the hat off and on again!
